Description
This is a high end professional bow by "Xu" Shi.
It was first discovered when it came along with Xu Chun Feng's Erhus.
It felt very well made and gives a certain kind of stability when you bow long notes.

Extremely good bow
Just a very smooth and stable bow; plays well everywhere, and feels extremely secure even playing very slowly. Honestly, it reminds me a little of a western bow in its performance and behaviour, so if you play cello or violin this would probably be a great bet. I've found some erhu bows can feel a little light and toy-like but this one means business.
Maybe not as fast-feeling as some bows I've tried but it engages the string well and I haven't had any skipping or grating on fast detache notes (or at least as fast as I can reliably play them). It's just not *quite* as quick as a stiffer bow might be.

Responsive and beautiful
The grip on the strings is very good with this bow. It is slightly heavier than my old bow so I'm still getting used to it. The plus side is I can finally tell when I rosin my bow enough. The bow instantly grips the strings when there is just the right amount of rosin. Bonus: the wood is 😍.

Excellent playability
I recently switched to this bow after owning an older bow that was losing a lot of its hairs. There is a nice weight to this new bow, and the hair does a good job at grabbing onto the strings when I play longer notes.
