The wiring and harness were sturdy and well done. For my year 22 Maverick, the LED was about 1. 5 inches too long to fit on a flat spot under the tailgate. I tried multiple places to put it. I am a good DIY mechanic; I got it to work with a double layer of two-sided tape and a silicone protective layer on top of the lead going across the tailgate. I wanted a sequential turn signal but did not get that; it might be a function of the truck for those who do not work. In addition, I put a bead of silicone on top of the lead to prevent water intrusion since I had to use a double layer of tape to install it.
