2018-2022 Xgen Accord Folding Mirror Kit

I recently installed the power folding mirror kit on my Honda Accord. Everything works great, including Walk Away Auto Lock and the automatic folding/unfolding, except during a factory remote-start session. When I remote start the car, the mirrors stay folded. Unlocking the car, using Smart Entry, or taking over with the brake and START button does not unfold them. The manual unfold button works normally. Is this expected behavior, or is there a newer controller or firmware that supports Honda's factory remote start? I understand Honda keeps the vehicle in a secure remote-start mode, so I'm wondering if this is simply a Honda limitation. It would be nice if the mirrors unfolded automatically after the remote-start takeover. Other than that, the kit is excellent. The installation was smooth, and I love the added feature that closes all the windows by holding the Lock button. Thanks!

Awesome product 😍, but…..

The installation was very easy from the video. It works pretty well. But sometimes the passenger side doesn’t fold back or open. Especially from the key by locking and unlocking. Overall it’s pretty cool, except when one side doesn’t fold and I have to go inside and press the button.
