Kowloon Walled City 2049 Book Nook Kit

I loved the whole concept. Pieces were sturdier than other less expensive brands. The one thing I accidentally broke was replaced after contacting customer service. It was well worth the price.

This is my daughter’s third book nook kit and she loves them! This one was a little more challenging with the lighting but once again is superb when completed.

These kits have been very well thought out with literally everything you need (except glue) included. I did find that the odd part needed trimming with sandpaper (provided!) to get a perfect fit, but that's not a criticism as the instructions do take you through a host of possible issues and how to deal with them. The instructions aren't always 100% clear with regard to where parts should be located (due to the way they're printed) but, as there are guide lines etched onto the mounting surfaces, having a close look at the parts has usually solved the problem. With regard to this specific kit (Kowloon Walled City), I found that leaving out the parts which guide the two wiring bundles away from the main circuit board actually made placing the wiring easier because there wasn't so much tension in the wires. That might just be my personal preference! Overall, a very satisfying build and a great end result.
