Kowloon Walled City 2049 Book Nook Kit

This particular kit has a wonderful gritty feel - the colored lights, plastic signs/monitors, "oil slick" stickers, plants, etc. are well chosen and rendered. It was a lot of fun to assemble. These kits use a very study board - probably the best of all the kits I have assembled from many different companies (over 50 so far!). Images on the boards are very detailed and beautifully colored, and I've not had any chipping or splitting as sone other brands are prone to. Cuts are sharp. Fit is mostly tight, but some pieces are loose and require glue to stabilize. The final fit is perfect if you make sure all pieces are seated tightly. Instructions are mostly very good - there are a few errors with light cables numbering. This kit has 15 separate lights and it is a chore to figure out which is which (I used tape to attach tags to each one to help with assembly.) That said, once you figure out the lights, they all assemble perfectly with just enough slack to allow easy placement, but not too much to have to shovel excess wires away. Most of the photos accompanying each step are clear, but a few are very difficult/dark to determine what is going on. Anavrin has exceptional customer service. Replacement parts are easy to get - even when kits purchased off third party sites like Amazon. Kit quality is top of the line. They are premium kits, they are expensive compared to other companies' offerings. However, you get what you pay for, I'd love to order more frequently but need to budget for them.

First purchase and very pleased with it. Looks amazing, quality fab. Enjoyed every minute of the build. Some bits were tricky but the guide was easy to understand. Will be making another purchase soon

I loved the whole concept. Pieces were sturdier than other less expensive brands. The one thing I accidentally broke was replaced after contacting customer service. It was well worth the price.
