My wife had a double mastectomy and I was the one trying to "strip" (clear) the drain tubes for several weeks. It is difficult to get the right pressure on the tube (especially if you've never done it before) to effectively drain it, and there weren't any instructions or training. If we had known about this device back then, it would have made a remarkable difference. Because of some complications, my wife ended up having another surgery (explant) and I searched for something that could help and found this device. We've used it now for several days and it works great! Remarkable difference from the previous time, and easy to use. Very intuitive. I highly recommend this.
