DOES THE JOB
I have had no slug damage to crops that have the raw wool used as a mulch around them, although my early potatoes which didn't get the mulch, were badly affected by the big orange/brown slugs. I have put the raw wool around 3 rows of squash plants and had no damage in 1month.

Fabulous moisture cover for hot weather
I bought a bag of fleece and laid it around plants and pots when the soil was damp earlier in March/April. I haven’t had to water as often despite the weather being extreme and I can soak the fleece so that it doesn’t run away from the plants as it would without the fleece on it. Highly recommend will be buying more

All natural help for my garden!
I don't like that wool gets wasted so I thought I'd try this. I haven't put it on the garden yet as it's so dry, but I'm looking forward to adding it to the beds when I clear them more in Autumn. It was wonderful to get a huge box of wool!
