Hi. I’ve gotten other microplaner imitations like the little holes for zesting (great, but larger strips), or a microplane option on a giant cheese grater (impossible to clean and cut my fingers just picking up the thing because sharp on all 4 sides). This is perfect and safe and I have only had a month or so, but it seems like it’ll be super sturdy! I’ve mainly used it for zesting citrus, as well as for mincing ginger into most meals even onto salads yum! Planning to use on chocolate soon, too. Would be hard to clean if I didn’t buy the little brush that comes with it, so definitely worth that package deal! Also, clean immediately after use is my tip.
