Very nice but not for bedside

These are very well made solid metal lamps. The warm to cool color options are beautiful and they dim pretty low. They would be perfect for an outdoor or indoor dining table situation or maybe if you want to bring sleek contemporary low lighting with you to an event. However, I’ll be returning them for 2 reasons, they shouldn’t be left plugged in and turning them on or off is not easy to do while in bed. I thought the touch on/off button might be easily accessible for bedside but it’s on the bottom. The pop up on/off top takes a little muscle to push down. It’s not difficult, but it’s also not possible for me to do while lying down unless I pick it up and squeeze it closed. These are also designed to function with a midrange charge and not to be left on the charger. They do look really good though! I wish they worked for my purpose.
