When G3 reorganized its website I did not know if their poles would be available in the US anymore. I have owned these poles and LOVE THEM. When it came time to hat a new pair I couldn’t find them anywhere and bought poles from 3 other companies. Then, one day, like the second coming, I saw they were available again I. The US on the G3 website and I scooped them up immediately. Best poles ever!

Awesome feature rich trekking pole.

When it comes to trekking poles, there's a fine balance that's needed between having something that's lightweight and something that's durable and useable. After going through 2 sets of ultralight carbon poles which failed, I finally settled on the G3's and I'm glad I did. The Pivot Trek's aren't the lightest for sure at 292g (on my scale) for a small. However, they make up for it with a solid and comfortable handle with multiple gripping areas and a rugged construction which eliminates most of the flex/wobble associated with many z-poles. It's also well balanced in that you can easily pivot the poles with the flick of a wrist. Personally, my favorite feature is the attachment point on the handle. As someone who uses a tarp tent which requires that the pole handle face the ground, these poles give me an option to place a tent peg into my poles for a bomber placement.
