Octavia 5lb Bags

Addicted

I've switched 3 different times to other coffee to put in my espresso machine, and every time I've counted down the days until I finished my current bag to go back to Octavia. It is simply the best dark coffee by a mile to everything else I've tried.

Wonderfully, comically huge bag

When I imagined a 5-pound bag of coffee, I imagined a 5-pound bag of sugar or flour: a manageable, normal size. What arrived was an utter delight: the bag is just like a 12-ounce bag, but sized WAY UP. It is an ARMLOAD of a bag of coffee. It is much too large to put on the counter behind the coffee pot. It would make a wonderful gift, I think, because the size really FEELS like what the bag costs. It's like giving someone one of those ten-pound Hershey bars. I should say I also enjoy the coffee itself! I would give the coffee itself 4 stars out of 5, but that's so subjective: what I like in coffee flavor might be completely different than what you like. I don't have enough of a coffee palette to say how many stars it should OBJECTIVELY receive. And also: the bag tips it right into 5-star territory for me anyway. I am attaching a photo because the review would like to have one, but I must say that it fails to capture the comic hugeness of the bag. For one thing, I'd ripped off the top to open it. But I think more than that, it's an in-person thing: when you see it with your own eyes, I think you will be more amused and delighted than you are right now.

Perfect for the office

I already knew that I loved this coffee, so I bought a 5 lb bag to use at work where the coffee they provide is terrible. I have converted almost all of my coworkers to this coffee now!
