Sad but I love the handle

Unfortunately the wedge started backing out during first uses after I hung the head. I don’t always use wood glue. I removed the wedge to rehang the head with wood glue in the kerf but I lost the hang. The bottom of the head’s eye wouldn’t lock back onto the handle. I tried everything I could but the hang was lost and I had to scrap the handle. I’ve had two other successful Whiskey River hangs though! I love the handles
