It won't last on a Carabiner!

My first bad review and it hurts! You can see in the pic how badly it's frayed in less than 2 months, I have it on the large end of my Civivi Click Premium Titanium Carabiner so I can pop it off when needed and it's pretty obvious that the internal 3 strands of cotton(?) are going to wear and tear as badly as the outer braided coat did, I'm resigned to this falling off of my keys while I'm out and about and wasting 60 odd dollars. Avoid this one peeps unless you have a different EDC option! ***Update #1 I've just bought a few different sizes of paracord which should arrive within a week, I'll update this with the results 👍 ***Update #2 So this is kinda cool, I could see no way to thread the paracord, I'm think they're using some "special" tool or it gets threaded before the pen holder insert is pressed in. I contacted Big Idea Design asking if they had some instructions or dare to dream, a video...they sent me an entirely new part, the top section + a couple of spare o-rings. I've doubled my stars because of this, I still can't carry it on the carabiner because the same this will happen, instead it resides in the 5th pocket so it's only EDC while wearing jeans/trousers.
