Shipped quickly. I ordered a box of 10 patties. I was told by another bee keeper to cut them in half so hive beetles don’t get infested. The bees love them. They start eating as soon as I put it on the top of the frames.

Heres a review: I like the hive alive products, as do my bees. However, requiring me to tell you where I heard about the product on the order page before allowing me to place my order is bs. Its really none of your business where I heard about the product if I don't want to tell you. Especially for someone who has previously ordered. I recommend you remove this requirement as you almost lost a customer over it. The fact that I'm ordering again should be sufficient.

Higher protein patty, veteran owned business

I wish to give the hives I manage the best substitutes I can find, and this product contains the highest amount of protein out there, with fewer fillers, which makes me happy, too. Add that as a veteran, I support veterans, and the fact that this company is veteran owned is great for me! I have been trying these patties out on nucs, and after a few days, the bees start to tunnel through it. Adding half a patty and monitoring is giving me a baseline I intend to use come Springtime, and I will be a return customer.
