Seems like a good enough strap. I put it with my camping gear because that’s likely were it will get the most use if any use at all. I got it just in case.

Extra strap makes for two side straps!
With an extra shoulder strap I was able to make two side handles that work much better for me to cart around this fantastic cooler as a short female. I just added cushy handles from a certain well known velcro brand. I used the velcro end of each strap and singed the ends to avoid future fraying but will get them sewn together by a cobbler in the future.
