Yunnan tea is my favorite black tea. This rare purple buds tea has a distinctive color and aroma, earthiness and flowery finish. A well deserved place in the realm of black teas.

A stellar tea!

Perhaps my favourite from Tea Repertoire. The dry leaf aroma alone is enough to excite senses. Personally I find it brewed best 5 - 7 grams per 100 ml of 90 degree water, initial steeps are short. This tea has plenty of staying power, the almost ethereal aromas and flavours of eucalyptus and lavender notes stay throughout, a warming but lively viscosity keep the palet entertained. Best savoured after a good evening meal. Highly recommended, all in all a stellar tea!
