Honestly the best walking aid I’ve tried

I just bought a replacement pair of crutches. that’s not normally a glowing report if you’ve had to buy replacement pair but bear with me. I bought my original pair a year ago after having bought a right cane and then a left cane to use them as a pair. I liked them so much I thought I would give the crutches a try and see if they were any more helpful. They literally changed everything. Most of the time I only need one but sometimes I need two for extra balance and mobility. I recently took a trip back to Canada, where I’m originally from. One of my friends there has been struggling to find a suitable walking aid, and even her physiotherapists were unhelpful and prescribed her something completely unsuitable for her needs. She saw my crutches and asked where I got them because she thought they could help her. I let her try them and they are absolutely so much better for her than the poles she had been advised to get. It would’ve cost her way too much to order them from the UK to Canada with shipping, etc, and I had brought some collapsible canes just in case of emergency, so near the last days of my holiday I left those crutches with her and just use the canes for the last couple of days. Just using those regular cheap collapsible canes for that couple of days was a very good reminder about how good these crutches truly are. I was in agony, and even though they were a support and did help some, they were not the amazingly supportive and strong crutches I had become accustomed to. I actually ordered a new pair before I got home in the hopes that they’d be here for the day after I got back, and they were. I can’t speak highly enough of these crutches or canes or any of the supplies that this company deals with. They are truly a lifesaver, and the fact I’ve been able to pass them on to a friend in another country who desperately needed them as meant a lot to me as well. If you are looking for a pair of sturdy strong crutches that will support you in so many more ways than the normal cheaper ones, I cannot recommend these highly enough. They are worth every penny.

Accessible adventures

I bought a cane with a regular ferrule for work but swapped it out for an all-terrain one to take a trip to Vietnam and Cambodia. It made a huge difference to my ability to see temples, markets and get on&off boats. My trip would not have been the same without it.
