A great upgrade for your printer

As an owner of an Ender 3 V3 with a bottom side-mount filament spool holder, I wanted to move to a top-mount spool arrangement to save space, and have a more direct filament path. However, I didn't want to use one of the readily available gantry mount options due to the additional stresses that an additional KG of weight would place on it. Enter the Universal Top Mount Spool Stand from Embrace Making. Assembly of the unit was very easy, and parts/instructions were included to facilitate moving the run-out detector to the top of the gantry as well. All-in-all, this is a well made, well thought out product, and while the price is a little steep ($60 US in Dec 2025), it does exactly what I need it to do, and I wouldn't hesitate to purchase another unit as my printer farm grows.

This really is a game changer for the Creality V3 Plus! I don't understand why Creality designed their filament feed for the plus the way they did, but this fixed all the issues. Great design!
