686 Men's Hydra™ Thermagraph® Jacket

This jacket has great features overall. I bought the snow camo colorway and it looks awesome in person it is definitely a standout. I do have two gripes, one major and one minor. Major: The sizing. I purchased the XXL based on the 686 sizing chart. According to their chart, I technically fall under an XL, but I intentionally sized up to allow room for layering. Unfortunately, the XXL still doesn’t provide enough space for someone who is 6’0”, 275 lbs to comfortably layer — especially if you plan on moving freely. I don’t have the range of motion I’d expect when reaching down to buckle and unbuckle bindings, which is a big deal on the mountain.Minor: I’d really like to see an additional pocket on the left interior of the jacket. It could be a mesh pocket like the one on the right or even a zippered pocket, but having that extra internal storage would make a noticeable difference. Overall, solid jacket with great features and a great look but the fit and pocket layout could be improved.

Great jacket

I wasn’t sure about the side zipper but it’s really nice. The grid fleece around the neck and chin is a huge plus! The only drawback to me is the sleeve length. I’m 6’0 228 so had to order an XL with my measurements. The sleeve length is really long for my arm length. Overall this is a top notch coat. Build quality is superb. Not quite warm enough on its own for the sub zero Minnesota temps I sometimes board in but my puffy is a perfect mid layer underneath it. Highly recommend!

Great Jacket

The quality of the jacket is great. i am super excited to try it out in March when I go back to Japan as I live in Hawaii and it isn't cold enough to use here.
