OshunPouch® 5x5 Box of 16

I have been using Oshun Pouches for a few years now and have always been very pleased with them, but this last batch was very disappointing. Out of the box of 16 pouches, only 4 had enough integrity to actually use in our installation. We even put them in cages for extra support and they barely stayed together. The other 12 busted open while we were soaking them. I even trouble-shooter with older pouches that we had and those were fine. It was just something about this most recent batch. I hope that it’s just something about this latest run in pouches because otherwise we have been really happy with the product and faithful to the brand.

It’s fantastic for event work, but I don’t recommend it as a catch-all substitute for foam. It doesn’t seem to hold quite enough moisture for day-to-day arrangements that need a longer vase life. But it works great if you just need them to last a day/two days tops. What I like about it most compared to the agrawool is how easy it is to pierce with even the more delicate stems. Much more similar to foam in that way. An excellent solution for any florist wanting to eliminate foam from their event work.

Absolutely amazing everytime we use the pouches! We also hand out the arrangements after events and people love seeing the hydration mechanics! Highly recommend to any florist that wants to be sustainable!
