Buy it. Best system of the 4 I've tried.
I've used this filter 3 days backpacking. I've also used products from Platypus, Hydrapak, and Sawyer. This is an excellent value and my favorite system overall. You get all of the function of much higher priced options. The water collection bag is the best I've ever used. Extremely easy to collect and carry large amounts of water in various conditions. Filters water plenty fast, just sit under a tree 10 minutes and you can filter 4-5L of water. The location of the valve is slightly above the bottom allowing larger sediment to collect there and not go into your filter, a very smart design. I don't recall if it came with instructions. It'd be nice if they printed them on the bag. I cut the tubing and mounted the filter mid line so I can feed the end tube into a water bottle and let it sit hands free. Buy this filter. You can't do better.

Perfect for silty water
This is perfect for silty water. With the side connector above the bottom letting the water sit for a bit removed the silt and helped maintain performance for our long backpacking trip

Gravity Filter
Large capacity ✅
Fast flow ✅
Easy set up ✅
Replaceable filter ✅
Light weight ✅
Durable ✅
A more pliable hose material would be better.. the provided hose will get brittle and crack in time.
Overall a descent set up that serves its purpose.
Pre-filter your water through a clean bandana or handkerchief if you have substantial sediment in your water supply, you won’t have the problem some others are complaining about.
