Workhorse jacket
I bought this end of season and it worked fantastically for spring skiing in Canada. It cut the cold wind well but also let me dump heat while skiing. It's lightweight and moves well with my body, and doesn't feel overly tight anywhere. I bought the Medium, which is my typical size, and there's plenty of room to layer underneath, which I plan to do next winter in the midwest.

Good jacket at a reasonable price point.
Love the jacket. I went with this coat because I wanted a Freeride fit. The length and fit are great. Lots of room for layering. The marshland colorway is super nice. The jacket has some really nice little features: high quality, smooth function zippers (which zip down on the pockets to close which means they are less likely to slide open with movement), lots of good sized pockets, some stash pockets and easy to grip toggles so you can avoid taking off your mitts in the cold. I’d say the jacket’s insulation mapping is a nice feature but if you run cold like me it’s certainly not a “medium” warmth rating like it is given. On a warm spring skiing day it might suffice but otherwise I layer up as usual and treat the mapping like a bonus layer around my kidneys. I’ve stayed dry in some pretty wet flurries and some rainy dog walks. I’m not sure this would be choice for touring as it’s got some heft to it but it’s a good all around piece for a decent price and with good layers this will get you through any resort day.

Best Jacket out right now!!!
This jacket is really waterproof and the hood is big enough to go over your helmet. I like that it’s not too bulky so I can layer accordingly. It’s warm enough for your storm days with a layer but if it’s nice out it’s also not too hot! It’s a bit long length wise but I like that for powder days. The pockets are great too… lots of pockets for all your stuff!
