Anthracnose Resistant Too

Even when my watermelons start struggling with anthracnose here in NW Florida, Tasty Bites cantaloupes keeps chugging along despite my thick planting and natural overhead watering from all the rain we get. These are tough vines. Only issue I've had is with the vines struggling to thrive on thick metal trellising. Stick with cooler, thin metal wire or go with non-metal options if you want them to grow vertically. Regarding the fruit, I appreciate the small, personal size for reducing waste. When you want a snack or meal, just grab it off the vine and serve with prosciutto and cheese if you want some protein. No leftovers to rot in a storage container in the back of the fridge. Also, I can't remember getting anything less than 100% germination on these seeds when planted in warm soil that's kept moist. I highly recommend giving this melon a try!

Well I reviewed these last year but glad to give my opinion. Planted 18 seed 04/21/2025 and 18 just about ready to go in the ground. (third leaf coming on) Used a little Nature’s Source fertilizer (not from Hoss) and Hoss’s Microboost after first leaf. Tasty bites last year was my favorite, that’s why we are going again with them. Hoss shipped very quickly and received with no issues whatsoever. Hoss is a great place to do business.

As always.. Excellent germination. Seeds came up in 4 days.. Will repost as plants get further along.
