Best squash variety ive ever grown! Germination has been 100% for me, plants do very well against SVB and the squash itself is best ive grown. Skin is thin and tender and the flavor is excellent. Gives a really nice shape too. Only variety i will be growing from here on.

Super strong year for our squash....plenty of spring rain and good but cooler than normal weather kept the bugs at bay and we had a ton of it this summer with little or no pest pressure! I just cleaned the plants out (momma said she was DONE with putting them up and/or cooking and eating them!) Just bought some HOSS Iron Clay Peas and Buckwheat to provide a cover crop!

Been growing Gentry squash for years because it's one of the absolutely best producing varieties of squash I've ever planted. Protect it against downy and powdery mildew however.
