We got a problem - HOSS
First time trying the Red Snapper, planted only 5 plants ( 4 in the raised bed with the Florida weave and i in a container). OMG i have never had so many BIG tomatoes in my life. I am now researching how to can and preserve. Lessons learned: grow 3 in the raised bed and allow for a little more space. I got my white bread and mayo ready.

One of the best I have ever grown.
These tomatoes always produce well, no matter how hot or humid it gets here in eastern NC. This is my third year growing them and they are very disease resistant and a heavy producer. The taste is pretty good for a tomato boasting all of its attributes. It is not as good as you would get from old time heirlooms, but it produces many times more, so the tradeoff is well worth it. Red Snapper, Shelby, Hossinator, and Tachi are my main staples. You can't go wrong with any of those if production and reliability are your goals.
