100% germination by a beginner.
I'm not much of a green thumb but I do try different things and this is my first time growing any type of lettuce. The included pic was taken at just over 3 weeks with all 6 plants looking healthy so far. I simply planted directly into regular (most inexpensive I could find) store bought potting soil labeled for vegetables and within a few days they sprouted. Where I live gets warm / hot quite early in the year so this is probably my best shot at growing any type of lettuce. I also live out away from any grocery stores so having some easy to access, fresh greens will certainly be nice.

Great germination!
Planted seeds Sunday and by following Tuesday I had three breaking ground. Today is Wednesday and 95% have busted through. Used Jiffy seed starting mix, heat mat set to 78F and correct mix of water salable fertilizer. Most plants are 1/4" tall by this evening. Will purchase more product from Hoss.

Lettuce
I started 24 seeds indoors on a heat mat & under grow lights. Within 6 days 16 seeds germinated. I replanted the empty pods and those sprouted. I have 24 lettuce plants that will be moved into a raised bed soon. Very Happy with the results.
