A Great Accessory

I ordered mine as part of the complete kit (wool anorak, canvas anorak, and gaiters). They are very well made, fit well, and go with my anorak (both are loden). I spoke with Andy to determine proper sizing and glad I did. I thought the sizing was by shoe size. Andy told me that it is not, it is by your calf size. I then took an XL. I like mine very much. They look and fit like my old OR gaiters (hook the shoes laces toward the toe, secure at the calf, stick the Velcro, and buckle under the instep). Truth be told, I have not worn them outside to date (the weather got too warm). However, I am very much looking forward to wearing them this coming winter. I like mine very much and heartily recommend them. They are great to keep the snow out at the boot/pants transition and provide some extra warmth to the lower extremities. I recommend them very much.
