Amazed they survived

I received the notification that my turmeric plants shipped on 6/9 and arrived 6/16. While the packaging was excellent, that’s a very long time to be in a box in the middle of summer. Local temperatures were around 100 that week and I’m sure even hotter in the truck. Upon opening the plants were pretty raggedy and wilted. Now, on the 6/26 they’re starting to push new leaves so I’m hopeful they’ll survive. So to review, customer service good, packaging excellent, method of shipping poor. UPS 3 day select should be used for live plants in summer.

Alabama Tumeric Root

The tumeric root was packaged well and arrived in excellent condition. I have planted it and am looking forward to harvesting tumeric as needed. Thank you to The Farm On Central!

My Turmeric Plants arrived in great shape and I transplanted immediately into bigger pots and they are doing well.
