I visited the factory in Orlando with my mother (we're from NY, and I was 10 years old!) in 1961, and I have always a huge Tupperware fan. I prefer Tupperware to storage units from competitors because, historically, there were more kinds of storage available than from competitors who offer limited types and/or colors. My cabinets are still full of Tupperware. I still prefer Tupperware over other brands, and the Modular Mates are my favorite pieces (The Spice Rack ties for favorite), as they are simple, practical, and attractive. These new mates with black lids are my updated ones, and so far, I'm happy with them. If they hold up as well as the ones I bought in the 1980's, I'll be delighted. My 'old' pieces have been repurposed for use in my garage pantry for storage of items I buy in quantity from Costco for which I have no space in the houses, eg toothpastes, deodorant, etc, boxes of pasta or cake mixes (keeps those pantry moths and ants out!), extra bandaids, razor blades, Brillo pads, soaps...AND, in the sewing room for storage of notions. I even have pet supplies, first aid and 'earthquake preparedness' and camping supplies in them. I really think that marketing and sales strategies (and many products, too), have been so antiquated and limited, for so long, that most young people furnishing their homes, today, have no idea how good and versatile these products are. As a true devotee, it breaks my heart.

My mom had a set of Tupperware canisters, from the 70’s, I believe. I didn’t get them in time, so invested in a set, in Mom’s honor❤️

I tell my friend to get these to keep your food fresher, and they are air tight , so no critters can get in them. One of my customers got some and she loves them
