On the cold plunge journey

I get a wellbeing allowance from my work. I saw a person who is struggling on insta and found their path using ice baths. I had a little look into them and saw the benefits such as recovery, alertness and more so resilience and mindset. I thought nah these are going to be expensive then researched. It was between polar and another well known brand. I took the plunge...get it and went for a tub 2 with mat and thermometer. It was not the easiest to set up and still haven't got the perfect circle...there are many kinks and feel this could have been easier. I watched the YouTube video and she presented like it would be really smooth. Anywho, realistically I don't need perfection. I use the tub every other day at around 8 degrees. Read into it and I feel no need to go colder as already reaping the benefit. I'm doing 11-14 mins a week, I feel my mindset and alertness has improved. I can concentrate and control my breathing. The tub itself is very sturdy, I can't see how it would get damaged unless abused. It's comfortable and easy to clean. The adapters on the side are handy as helps me empty the water bits at a time. The lids so far have kept the water out....and it's been really windy and stormy. Love the tub, love the mat...great wording which I read and say every time I get in. Stop thinking...get in. That's it. No hesitation, just do. I used to be a faffer but no...in straight away! Thank you for making it affordable for such a good, sturdy product!
