Great Roof Bars and Great Support

I found these and am very happy with them. I wanted straight bars instead of the standard elliptical, but two things were putting me off. Name brands are very expensive and they also stick out beyond the mounts. Sometimes this is useful, but I wanted straight bars that also looked OEM. I found these in a Google search and am very happy. And I was delighted to find out they also have a channel to mount things directly to them (like an awning). I had several questions before purchase and always received a quick response. When I went to purchase, there was an issue with the website. I called Erkul and it was immediately rectified. All of the support has been fantastic. So, overall 5 stars and a big THANK YOU!

Good product - Poor instructions and documentation

I bought the Heavy Duty Roof Rack Crossbars for my 2025 Toyota RAV4 based on reviews and a value assessment. While I am satisfied with the product itself, the documentation sent is out of date and incorrect. It said I should have 8 nuts (which were pictured). It also said that two of the installation brackets were labeled as to their locations (a picture in the instructions showed the labeled brackets). The 8 nuts were not present and none of the 4 brackets were labeled. The referenced video is also very poorly done with steps missing and camera angles that are useless in terms of showing one how things should look. I finally called their phone number and the customer support person admitted that the installation booklet was out of date. (The 8 nuts are now embedded in the housing for each of the 4 connections.) Fortunately he helped me figure out how to manually label the front brackets to correspond to the picture and answered some other questions. While it seems like a well-made product, If you buy it expect to figure things out on your own in terms of the installation.
