solid build and functional. Runs small. Zipper is useless.

I'm 5'10", 163 lbs. Ordered a medium but it was way too small: couldn't get it on over just a base layer. Replaced with large, which fits better. The lack of strap adjustment is a constraint. Worried about whether I will be able to get it on over winter layers. The zipper on the body is a waste of weight: if you pack things tightly so they don't shift, you can't get anything out through the zipper without changing how the pack will ride and/or re-packing, so might as well just open from the top only. Holds a surprising amount given the nominal 15l volume. The chest bungies are **very hard** to fasten because you can't see the top ones without a mirror. It takes two hands and several attempts. But once the pack is on, it rides like it's part of your body. Very happy with the experience of wearing it for hiking, biking, and trail running. Less happy with getting it on and off and getting things out of it on the trail. The vest pockets under the bottle pockets are awkward to access if you use hard water bottles (I use a titanium bottle): the bottles interfere with the zippers. Very happy with the Graflyte 97 fabric.

Very nice pack

Just got this yesterday and I am already so impressed. Excellent quality pack. Loaded it and wore it around the house for a couple hours. Loved the fit. I am a petite woman with a medium chest. I ordered the medium. Glad I did. Sizing is small. It felt almost big when I first put it on but once I put a water flask, phone and snacks in the chest pockets I could tell a medium was the way to go and if I was wearing a jacket I’m sure it would have made it even more snug. I am 5’3” 115 lbs. I’ve been using a black diamond distance 22 which I have liked but this pack…far superior!! Love it! I have several hyper light packs and they are all top notch!!

Great Design

i was really excited about this pack. I run trails and bike ride. My current day pack is great for a hike; not so much run of bike. In these two activities I don’t appreciate how my current pack bounces around. The vest idea got my attention and I ordered a small (chest size 38) as I wanted to ensure a tight fit. The design (Volume, location of pockets / attachments, etc.) was great. Felt pretty tight but gave it a go on a run. Unfortunately, too tight with only a water bottle and a rain jacket along for the trip. In all other ways this answers my needs so I’m swapping out for a medium.
