Making this Chai
My wife made the mistake of using measurements suitable for coffee. It was awful. So I have played with it a bit and my recommendation is:
1 rounded tsp per cup in a pot or container you can pour from; Tea balls seem to clog up with this blend.
Add boiling water in 5 0z cups, so 2 tsp of Chai and 10 oz of hot water will provide for a ~16 oz cup of Chai (including my Heavy Cream).
Allow to brew for a few minutes.
Put a ¼ cup of heavy cream [optionally] in your mug, pour the Chai through a fine strainer into the cup.
Stir and Microwave if not warm enough.
The Heavy Cream is my choice to soften the very strong black pepper after taste. You do not have to use it.
You can of course add a sweetener as you wish.
