I bought it as a gift and the recipient really liked it.

Customer service is first rate. I had a problem with the top on my Bistro Butter Bell not fitting properly. After posting a review, customer service contacted me to ask for pictures. After a few attempts to get pictures to them, they volunteered to send me a new Butter Bell! Customer service like this is hard to find. The Butter Bell itself works as advertised and keeps butter at perfect temperature and level of spreadability. I have had zero problems with butter falling out into the water. One of the things setting the Butter Bell apart from competitors is that it fits one stick of butter. This may be a very American thing, but it’s great for me. Thanks to the company for such fast and great customer service. You can buy with confidence.

It matched my mother's dining set perfectly and was a great Christmas gift for her.
