A Butter Bell is the way to go. The butter stays fresh and is soft. I always had a stick of butter in the rapper on our counter - because I like soft butter. It never looked very nice and the butter didn't last long. But the Butter Bell changed that. The container looks great on our counter and the butter is perfect. Thanks Butter Bell
