Got the 30” for my flats boat. Love it. Ordered some spikes to mount on my casting platform. Using the casting platform to hold down the 30” mat.

An Absolute Necessity

If you own a skiff, jon boat, flats boat, well if you fly fish off any boat this mat is an absolute necessity. Fly management is so much easier when you can position your mat where ever you are stripping your line. I have tried other method, but none are efficient or as adjustable to your position on the boat as this mat. Build quality and materials are top notch. The mat stays where you lay it, keeps your line in the boat and not flying in the wind or in the water. Comes with a nice nylon bag for easy storage. Catch a fly line or two in a clear or trolling motor and you have more than lost the cost of one of these mats. Buy one, now go catch fish.

Fly Line Mat-30” Fits SilverkinG 16 Signature Series Bow Perfectly.

As a Captain who’s used an original SilverkinG 16 Signature Series for over 30 years, I recently upgraded my boat to a another, newer, Signature Series. As part of my upgrade process, I moved my casting platform with backrest back on the deck as far as possible. With the platform at the back of the deck it leaves more deck space for the fly lines, especially with a wind at your back, which is the norm when fishing fly fishermen. Once I had the backing plate and tie-down bolt installed I ordered the Mat-30” which so far is the perfect upgrade, especially with a bow mount trolling motor and it’s power cable. Thanks Mark & Mason, great design and product, really love the durability too.
