Al wedad
Natural well balanced golden honeyed smokey oud, something you could wear anywhere and perfect to layer with other fragrances, oud presence without the barn/animalic twist.....another great offering from allthatscents

Great, non-offensive mukhallat!
This is a great buy for those averse to strong animalic scents in their mukhallats and those new to oud!
The mukhallat opens with a tempered camphoraceous breeze, reminiscent somewhat of cloves, before revealing beneath it rich wood. I look between it and the sheesham packaging and can't help but sense resemblance, yet that's likely a trick of the mind. It's tied together with a Hindi oud, distinguishable through a woody scent punctuated with a hay-like note that's smooth and non-offensive. It's sweetened by the florals the perfume-maker used, florals I can only guess at. It comes across more jammy rather than something overtly floral, but perhaps you'll disagree ;)
There is a light petrichor aspect that reveals itself, likely from the aged patchouli used.
All-in-all, this is a great, non-offensive blend that I would especially recommend for those new to oud. Keep in mind that everyone's taste is different, and that you're not guaranteed to like it, but I certainly do and would happily buy it again!
Any cons are minor, given the low price point. Staying power is decent courtesy of the oud, yet not amazing. Projection is somewhat restrained. It's a more intimate scent, which is fitting given its name. And the overall progression of the mukhallat isn't dramatic, it remains fairly stable outside of the opening, but I don't mind that.
The blend is on the sweeter side at first, but it's not fatiguing. It's a contrast to some of the darker scents I own and is probably well-suited to mild weather, not too hot and not too cold. I need to test that further however.
Again, I would happily buy this one again and I think it's a steal at this price.
Thank you for reading and Eid Mubarak!
