Personalized Speakeasy Lounge Sign | Family Name Bar Sign | Metal & Acrylic

I recently moved into a retirement home in Texas, as I have many physical challenges. This was going to be a big change for me. The average age here is 83 and I am 59. I decided not to be known here as my boring old “legal name”, but rather by a “joyful name” I created two days before moving in. I am now called Luna Glo. My mother’s name was Gloria and it is a nod and a wink to her. My 86 year old neighbor James soon nicknamed me “Moonshine”. And shortly after that, my little apartment was named “Luna Glo’s Speakeasy”. I began collecting little items from a nearby antique store that I can walk to, as I am no longer able to drive. The final touch to my new little home was your GORGEOUS custom made Speakeasy sign. It says, “Luna Glo’s Speakeasy, Where the Moonshine Flows!” I absolutely LOVE it and so has everyone that has seen it. I drag everyone in here! If their walker or wheelchair or scooter will squeeze through my front door, well they must stop in. I have joy again in place of sadness and purpose where I thought I never would again. There’s no alcohol served at my Speakeasy. Only lots of laughter and tears and new friendships made over some lovely filtered water. Thank you for helping me find my way.
