Post-Punk in a (Beautiful) Box

The saturation side covers A LOT of ground. The sliders with the db selectors are a tone sculpting machine. The detune can do a lush chorus right up to some Captain Beefheart weirdness. Saturate + Detune is post-punk goodness (PiL, Siouxsie, Cure) or instant Come as You Are, take your pick. I have it at the end of a wet/dry/wet board and the saturation glues the two wet amps together while the chorus provides just enough fluidity even when barely on to make you miss it when you turn it off.

Powerful distortion

The sliders in combination with the three different boost levels for each band is really great for powerful toneshaping. Nice with midi, which you don't usually find on overdrive and distortion pedals. The addition of detune is nice. But personally I would have preferred more controls for the saturation part of the circuit, like different clipping possibilities. It's an expensive box. But for me it's worth it.

Awesome gain device, the sliders do a ton of new things never tapped in a distortion pedal prior. Chorus is sweet too!
