The Shoal Creek barefoot bandit weathered sand. Excellent comfortable boots straight out the box. I started my day walking in these boots for over 90 minutes around the University of Kentucky campus for a tour. My wife and I later went to the Louisville Orchestra and I wore the boots for over 12 hours today. They were so comfortable I will probably wear them tomorrow as well. Only issue I had was when they came in they seemed to have some stains and some minor brown or black scuff marks. It appeared that someone tried to clean the stains and markings but the marks on the leather were still there. I chose to ignore this and kept the boots since the boots they were on sale and the soles did not have a single scratch. The boots were so great today that I’m looking to buy another pair of Alvies in the near future. I love them. I chose to keep it 5 stars because these boots are awesome!

Love the boots. Best fitting Alvie cowboy boots. Unnecessarily scuffs on toes, right out of box. QC should have caught that

Cool boots but…
This is the first pair of boots I have bought from Alvies, I own 8 pairs with this one. I really like the comfort, color, and style, however I feel that the description of the leather of the boots as off. The leather almost feels like a rough out, but it’s actually a nubuck in texture. Which is cool for a boot but if I knew that I wouldn’t have bought them.
