I bought two smoke alarms. The first one I was able to connect to my HA via Thread Border router without any issues. The problem was with the second one - but not with the alarm itself - but with my OTBR. So i needed to change the Thread channel from 25 to 24 - and it all worked.

So far ive been completely unable to connect it to my Matter network.
