These avocados are awesome!! California Avocados Direct have the best avocados! We have never been disappointed with the quality and flavor of their avocados!!

Our avocados arrived really quickly, packed well and just as advertised - great service! Instructions said they would ripen in about 3-5 days if kept at 67-75 degrees F, and quicker if put in a paper bag. They would turn from green to black as they ripened. We carefully followed those directions but it has been 10 days now and only 3 have turned completely black and softened slightly, even in a bag. Others still have green areas and are still rock hard. The first two looked beautiful, but still had a bitterness to them. The one cut today though was perfect, creamy and no bitterness. So we're hoping the rest will be great as well. We believe they were picked too soon though and stayed rock-hard and green for much longer than they should have. We'd order again but hope we can ask to have them picked later in the ripening process. Great company!

The Gem Avacados arrived to Kotzebue, AK in 2 days from the farm, I don’t even know how that was possible but it’s true! Anyway the Gems are truly gems perfect in every way, big buttery smooth I don’t know how they could possibly be any better! Thank you!
