Beautiful design, but excessive shedding

The rug is thick and the design is beautiful, which I really like. However, the shedding is excessive. After just one pass with a lint roller, the sheet is completely covered in wool fibers, and fine fibers constantly accumulate on the floor even with regular cleaning. It’s been a bit difficult to manage. I hope the shedding improves over time.
