I personally like the paper, smoothness, and number of pages. It's not as thick as paper you'd often find in journals, but I prefer that for my scrappy, multi-purpose notebooks. I like the version with narrower lines, but that's a personal preference.

Why did I find these notebooks first?

I love these notebooks. Thin and smooth but sturdy paper that take fountain pen ink like a champ. A great value as you get 5 books for the price of one mediocre notebook of a different brand. I will be ordering more when these get finished.
