I’ve found Gioia nibs to be consistently good performers. The Fine and Medium nibs run close with the Medium nibs seeming to lean towards Fine and vice versa. I haven’t had an issue with the nibs on any of the 14 Gioia pens I own.

This is another smooth, firm steel nib; very reliable. The sun engraving in the Gioia branding is charming and looks good with the pen.

Buttery smooth

I needed an extra nib because the original that came with my pen was scratchy. I over sanded it by mistake so I needed a new one. This one was just spot on. I simply cleaned and installed and it just flows like butter.
