Organic Black Gold Coffee

Tasty and effective?

I usually stick with Bruvi’s espresso pods because I mostly drink iced Americanos, so I wasn’t sure how much I’d enjoy a regular coffee pod. Organic Black Gold ended up being a really nice change of pace. It’s a smooth, rich dark roast with somewhat noticeable chocolate and hazelnut notes (never as strong as described, but present), but it never tastes bitter or overly smoky. The low acidity makes it easy to drink black, and it has enough body to stand up well over ice if you want a chilled coffee instead of an Americano. The flavor is strong without being harsh, which isn’t always easy to find in a single-serve coffee.

This coffee is delicious, and I’m so glad I had a chance to try it. It is smooth, well-bodied, and the chocolate notes come through nicely. I add some heavy cream and sweetener and it feels like a treat.

If you like dark roast you need to try Organic Black Gold. It's a great way to get the day started. For an afternoon pick me up I use my Bruvi brewer to make a Black Gold cold brew. Add a few ice cubes and a dash of Half & Half and I'm good to go! If Dark Roast is your thing then you'll love Organic Black Gold.
