Thoughtfully designed, high quality jacket

I've been quite happy with this monsoon jacket from Bedi Studios. It's not cheap but you really get what you pay for with this. Build quality on this is excellent. It's very lightweight but still feels solid and premium in hand. This is very comfortable to wear and I like the sort of upper to mid thigh length on this. I wear the a large size YVON jacket and sized up to the XL with this. I'm glad I did. I find the XL in the monsoon fits similarly to slightly looser than my large YVON which I actually like for this lighter weight jacket. The hood has a sort of sloped design to it which keeps rain out of your face while not getting in your way either. Love the dual zipper on this. I believe these are YKK zippers though the label seems a bit different. It is a bit tight at first but gets easier to zip/unzip with use. Water beads up on this really well and rolls right off - I find this more water resistant than my Patagonia torrentshell. For those picky about color, I will say that the jacket has more of a sheen to it in person than the photos convey. The photos on the website are a lot more matte looking than what it is in person. Still looks great to me though, another great piece from Bedi Studios!

Great rain coat

I really love it. It got a bunch of pockets and the zip can be unzipped from the bottom making it easy to wear it while on the bike. It is lightweight and I now bring it with me everywhere. I can see me wearing it for many years. It is a great purchase.
