Beautiful soothing tones

Nice Sound

The eclipse has a nice pleasent sound.The construction seems basic. I wonder if the wood which will require maintenance could be repaced by high density plastic without loss of tone quality. I hope the stapeles used to secure some of the strings are stainless so they do not rust away outside. I am not fussy about the square suspention ring. It forces all strings to sit in one 90 degree corner and may increase wear. Would prefer to have a stainless hook and ring end at the end of the suspension strings for quicker instlation and removoval . Otherwise, I like the thing.
