scent is very strong

i have to admit, i am a bit gobsmacked by the intensity of the scent, it’s rather overwhelming. i ordered four bars so i could keep one and give the others to my sisters, but i’m pretty sure the scent would keep them from wanting to use it. too bad, because it would be a wonderful product otherwise. my fault, i could have ordered unscented!

Wowser! Great Soap

I like tallow products for my skin so I took an opportunity to try the offered soaps as I very much am satisfied with the Buffalo Wool Co products. I started with the peppermint buffalo tallow then let that bar dry out and tried the tobacco/vanilla one. I am thoroughly delighted with them both. When I opened them, my first thought was they smelled a little strong, however once they hit the water, they proved to be mild in fragrance and with very good suds to them. I place mine in a brisk cotton twine mesh bag and find them very soothing on my skin. Suggest you get two so one can dry out while using another. That way they last longer.
