Wonderful knee support
I would have given a 5 star, but the sewing at the waist in a pair i got just before Christmas started to unravel the 1st time I put them on. But because i wear them everyday as an instructor, I couldn't take time to send them back.

KS1 7/8 Thermal Alpine and more
Life long athletes with MCL/ACL knee injuries, my wife and I have tried various knee support solutions with limited results. Athletic tape, neoprene and adjustable bracing provided temporary support but ultimately each solution sagged, slipped or detached. Then I found Bracelayer online, read the reviews and reached out to the team about sizing. We ordered a pair each of KS1’s and followed the sizing suggestions. The knee/hip support was on point as suggested and felt like our knees in particular were fully supported while carving turns on the hills. The height for alpine boots is excellent, in just the right place to avoid pinching at the top of the boot.
Sadly, the fit around muscular calves was too tight. We had a zero hassle experience getting a size up for both of us.
The new pair fit the calves perfectly, still give good support to the knees, but we’ve lost the compression on the hips at the larger size. Would love a system built in to adjust the calf “grip” without losing the knee/hip compression. Maybe our “bad” for too many leg days. We’d still highly recommend the purchase for knee support with the added value of the thermal materials.
